Color and Density Sample

The number one question we receive in regards to our goodies is which density to order it in. While this is a fairly subjective question, It’d be vastly easier if you had a sample of the silicone in your hand. Below are some basic thoughts on the different density silicones that we use to make our items. Simultaneously, this is where you can get a sample of the colors we offer too. Before you drop several bills on a big toy and you want to see if the density and colors will jam, here's where you get a sample or two! 

Our Platinum Silicone is manufactured in the USA by Smooth-On. Samples weigh about 30 grams, are about 1.5" in diameter and 1" tall. Samples are made to order, and like our toys, may take from three to ten days to actually make prior to shipping. 

Shore 0030 – or 3a – Soft & Squishy -100% EcoFlex 0030

Perfect for highly textured toys, large toys, fantasy toys, and toys that you may want to clench around

Shore 0050 – or 5a - Soft -100% EcoFlex 0050

Slightly firmer than 0030, more of a real feel with larger size realistic toys, a good choice for average to large size fantasy toys and vaginal plugs

Shore 8a – Medium Soft - A blend of Dragon Skin 10 and Ecoflex 0050

In the middle! An excellent density for toys that fall in the average size area and feel like erect tissue.

Shore 12a - Medium - 100% Dragon Skin 10

Stand alone very erect tissue feel. Great for textured and smooth toys, thrusting toys, and targeting toys

Shore 16a - Firm - A blend of Dragon Skin 20 and EcoFlex 0050

Good for smaller toys with a bit of texture, pegging toys, and other smooth toys designed for targeting pressure like g-spot dildos

Shore 20a - Hard - 100% Dragon Skin 20

Similar to toys in 16a, 20a Good for smaller toys, butt plugs, pegging toys, and other smooth toys designed for targeting pressure like g-spot dildos

Shore 30a - Very Hard - 100% Dragon Skin 30

For form and function, 30a platinum silicone works perfectly for specific items such as suction cups and very slim toys such as pegging toys that you don’t want flopping or bending in use.
