The Sensi Vaginal Plug Is All New in 2025

The Sensi Vaginal Plug is the latest classic Uberrime design to get a 2025 refresh.

Before we get into what’s changed, I want to talk about what makes this design so special.

The Sensi debuted in April of 2019. Like all of Uberrime’s early designs, Marco created the Sensi sculpt by hand with apoxie. It came to be in the small crafting studio Marco toiled in after working a full day in an Orlando kitchen as a chef and restaurateur.

Marco described the design as “a super squishy soft dildo/plug/clenchable something or other,” and intended it as a pussy plug – the vaginal equivalent of a butt plug. Something short and wearable, providing a sensation of fullness without the added hassle of “extra” inches or a big base.

Six years later, Uberrime is operating out of a larger studio as Marco’s full-time gig – and the Sensi is Uberrime’s most popular model.

What makes the Sensi so popular?

It’s no exaggeration to say that in the years since its debut, thousands of words about the Sensi Vaginal Plug have been shared on the Internet. Which makes sense, because there are several thousand Sensi out in the world.

Here’s a few reasons why it’s been such a hit:

The Sensi is soft. “[The] squish is also what makes the Uberrime Sensi a delightful vaginal stress "ball." Every squeeze of my pelvic floor constricts and displaces the silicone,” sex toy reviewer Super Smash Cache wrote in 2018. In a 2024 follow up, she compared the silicone firmness options to feeling like “[squishy] warm gummy candy, or [soft] cool gummy candy.”

The Sensi provides g-spot pressure. “It is very well-shaped [for it] because of the slope of the head,” educator and performer Lily O’Riley pointed out in 2022, “It is a good toy for g-spotting with the head [or] the secondary bulge, it feels amazing, just not in a thrusting way.”

The Sensi is short. Mentioning the Sensi’s intentionally short stature, globe-trotting Dildo’er Carly S wrote, “I also have a very sensitive cervix from past surgeries and it’s nice to have a squishy toy to clench around that isn’t touching my cervix at all.”

The Sensi is clenchable. In 2023, a Redditor called it “the best non vibrating toy I've ever purchased.” They added that it was a great enhancement to receiving oral because it didn’t get in the way: “Orgasm is so much stronger because I can bear down on something.”

The Sensi is wearable. “If you are looking for a wearable vaginal plug, something for use outside your house, then Sensi will stay in place with more supportive pants,” wrote insertable enthusiast/evaluator Phallophile Reviews in 2021. “A pair of tight spandex shorts keeps it in place for me.”

The Sensi is high-quality and hand-poured. “They use 100% platinum silicone for their toys and just overall I like being able to find small boutique [artisans] that are hand-making things,” BDSM educator Evie Loupine said in 2020. “You are literally paying a person directly to make this toy themselves, not like a manufacturer mass producing them like if you’re getting something off Wish or Amazon.”

How did we update the Uberrime Sensi?

As Uberrime has grown, so has the team behind it. Kat of ExcelDDesigns (the talented artist behind Damn Average) has not only been sculpting new models, she’s been working to replicate classic Uberrime designs in 3D. That includes the Sensi!

Having a 3D model allows us to make changes both big and small – something that’s much trickier with a handmade sculpt. Luckily for folks who are fans of the original, we didn’t change what’s made the Sensi a best seller for over half a decade.

Instead:

The Sensi now has additional size options.

Because we’re able to 3D print the design in multiple sizes, the Sensi now comes in an ultra-slim Small and a super-thicc Large:

The Small is comparable to two fingers, a frequent size benchmark mentioned by folks asking for a smaller option. The Large, on the other hand, is just over 2 inches in diameter – a real challenge!

The Small and Large are both the same length as the original (5 inches), so it should still be safe for a sensitive cervix.

The Sensi has a more comfortable Medium.

The Sensi was designed to be plump (the original was 1.75 inches in diameter), but over the years it’s become obvious that folks would prefer something a little closer to average size. So the (Medium) Sensi has been slimmed down to a more accommodating 1.6 inch diameter – or 0.2 inches thicker than the average penis.

The Sensi has a more svelte base.

The original Sensi’s base was more butt plug inspired, with a traditional flare. Some users found the base just a bit too flat and wide, irritating their labia when the plug was worn while walking or moving around.

So for the Small and Medium, the base now resembles our less obtrusive Suavis Vaginal Plug base. The Large retains a wider base for easier retrieval.

So what do you think?

Uberrime has always valued customer feedback, from professional reviewers and casual customers alike. That’s the very reason the Sensi received a refresh this year. You’ve all ased for more sizes, for a more ‘average’-proportioned standard/medium size, and for an adjusted base. Finally, thanks to ExcelDDesigns’ talented hand, those things have come to pass.

One of our other vaginal plug models, the Suavis, came about in part because you asked for a pussy plug that didn’t create the same kind of g-spotty pressure as the Sensi. The Suavis’s sloped shape is inspired by real life vaginal castings, and is intended to be a gentler fill. Still soft and clenchable, but less of a challenge.

So what would you, our peers and friends and customers, like to see next? Could the Sensi or Suavis use some additional tweaks – or are you, like Marco puttering around his original studio with apoxie in hand, dreaming up something entirely new?
